Reasons/ Benefits of Running A Half Marathon
Significant progress might be shown during your training. Many runners set out to finish a half-marathon; after completing one or two, they begin training to run a full marathon. Improvements of 20–30 minutes are frequently observed when runners focus on their training!
For many runners, the half-marathon represents a significant race. You’ve accomplished a running milestone by preparing for and finishing your first half-marathon. Although the distance may terrify many beginning runners, they nevertheless resolve that it is a goal they want to achieve. It also frequently creates the foundation for the ambition to run a whole marathon!
A half-hour of training will compel you to work out regularly. Training for half a marathon is a fantastic place to start if you want to get healthy, work out more, reduce weight, or any other objective.
From Prospect Park to Coney Island, I would need help to get out of Prospect Park myself!!!! Good luck to all the runners who are making the effort, and special congrats to A-Tech Art teacher Ms.Brooks, who will be participating in it! Strive for that milestone, and have fun!
