Great news! The Adult Career and Continuing Education Services-Vocational Rehabilitation (ACCES-VR) is here to support individuals with disabilities in overcoming barriers to employment and career advancement. If you have a disability that affects your ability to secure or progress in a job, ACCES-VR is here for you.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible to apply or be referred for ACCES-VR services, you must:
- 🦻 Be a person with a disability or disabilities impacting your job prospects.
- 🗽 Currently reside in New York State.
- 🤝 Be available to participate in the vocational rehabilitation process.
- 📅 Be at least 14 years old.
- 🌎 Be able to work in the United States.
Important Note for Non-U.S. Citizens: If you’re not a United States Citizen, you need to provide proof from the United States Department of Immigration and Naturalization Services that you are allowed to work in the United States.
